YUZHMASH undertook an unusual challenge that was to downscale its proven engine technologies to a small-sized air-dropped rocket. These engineering efforts in miniaturizing rocket technologies are in line with the growing demand for light launchers to deliver micro- and nano-satellites into orbits.
Laboratory tests were an important stage to prove the viability of the new developments. YUZHMASH and the Orbit Boy’s team were proud to report on their successful completion, which paved the road to perform the next steps.
