Orbit Boy Company and YUZHMASH signed a lease agreement, which gave the right to exploit YUZHMASH-owned IL-76 cargo plane for the project purposes. The agreement also denotes the right to perform plane modifications to install an air-dropping platform.
IL-76 was tested in both simulations and real flights and proved its capacities to take a 14.5-ton rocket to the air and drop it at a 9,000 m altitude.
